What’s for dinner?  Tonight it’s Spaghetti Bolognese and it couldn’t be easier.  Your family will be feeling happy and full in about 30 minutes and it only takes one pot, one pan, and one cutting board.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Angel Hair (Thin) Spaghetti Noodles
  • Ground Beef (1 lb )
  • Pasta Sauce (I recommend brands with no high fructose corn syrup and no meat)
  • Diced Tomatoes – fresh is preferred, or one can
  • Garlic Powder
  • Garlic Salt
  • Pepper
  • Onion Powder
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Onion (1/2 white or yellow onion)
  • Corn (1/2 cup)
  • Peas (1/2 cup)

Here’s how to make it

  • Boil the water for the pasta in a medium sized pot
  • Brown the ground beef in a large pan over medium to medium-high heat, adding in the onion while you cook the ground beef.  Drain the grease when browned
  • Add the tomatoes, stir, let simmer for 2-4 minutes.  Reduce heat to medium
  • Add in the pasta sauce and 1/2 tbsp of each of the spices.  Stir to distribute evenly
  • Add the corn and peas, cover with a lid and let simmer for 10 minutes on medium.
